O Google anunciou ontem o novo Hangouts<\/strong> (Android<\/a> | iPhone<\/a> | Windows<\/a>) em sua <\/strong>confer\u00eancia para desenvolvedores Google I\/O<\/a>. O programa de chat, que substitui os servi\u00e7os de mensagens instant\u00e2neas anteriores da companhia, vai permitir a troca de SMSs<\/strong>, al\u00e9m, claro, de mensagens via internet, liga\u00e7\u00f5es de voz e chamadas de v\u00eddeo.<\/p>\n

A not\u00edcia foi dada pela community manager Dori Storbeck em um post na rede social Google+<\/strong><\/a>. Segundo ela, a funcionalidade estar\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel em breve e vir\u00e1 acompanhada de outros recursos, por exemplo a possibilidade de fazer liga\u00e7\u00f5es para fixos e celulares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

O chat Hangouts j\u00e1 est\u00e1 ativo em plataformas como Gmail<\/a>, Android, iOS e Chrome<\/a><\/strong>. No Android, inclusive, o app j\u00e1 est\u00e1 pedindo, no momento da instala\u00e7\u00e3o, permiss\u00e3o para ler e enviar SMSs.
