When going through the payment process to get YouTube Premium, it also offers more advantages, but the absence of advertising is one of its biggest attractions. Whether the amount is affordable or not depends on each individual’s opinion. However, users’ ingenuity has led to the search for alternatives to pay as little as possible.
YouTube doesn’t like cheaters. For years, the platform has been fighting a public battle against ad blockers, one of its biggest enemies. However, YouTube is legally prohibited from displaying ads in some countries. Therefore, the use of VPNs to fake locations has become a popular method to avoid ads. To prevent the use of this tactic, the platform requires future subscribers to use a local card to sign up for Premium. In theory, it seems to be an effective method to put an end to this country-switching tactic. However, only time will tell if it ultimately proves successful.
