Diagnostic Data Viewer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Windows 10 has many different apps for getting the most out of the operating system. One of them is Diagnostic Data Viewer<\/strong>, which basically analyzes all the info the firmware has. This info is sent to Microsoft so it knows what\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before downloading it, enable the corresponding button. To do this, go to \u201cSettings\u201d <\/strong>and click on \u201cPrivacy.\u201d<\/strong> From the different categories that appear on the left, go all the way down to one called \u201cApp diagnostics<\/strong>.\u201d Make sure it’s set to “On.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once that\u2019s done, now it\u2019s time to download the Diagnostic Data Viewer. It\u2019s a free tool from the Microsoft store. Here\u2019s a direct link<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now for the important part. When you open the app for the first time, look for the bar on the left. These \u201cevents\u201d or \u201cprocesses\u201d are collecting all the data that is sent to Microsoft. Using the search bar, you can find the programs that most interest you. Once you\u2019ve got one, click on \u201cExport Data\u201d and a CSV file will be downloaded <\/strong>with all the relevant info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don\u2019t like the info that Microsoft is storing about you, you can delete it. Seriously. Just click on the button \u201cDelete\u201d <\/strong>on the \u201cSettings\u201d <\/strong>pageand say goodbye the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n
