A common one is <\/span><b>Google Calendar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the calendar platform that is linked to other tools as well. If you\u2019re a big fan, you may already know these tricks, but if not, heads up: <\/span><b>here are 10 things you didn&#8217;t know you could do with Google Calendar.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>Change colors<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is one of the simplest features: <strong>having different<\/strong><\/span><b>\u00a0colors for each calendar. <\/b>Don&#8217;t just have one calendar with work stuff and family stuff and your friends&#8217; birthdays. Make a separate calendar for each function. It\u2019s as easy as going to the settings, selecting the calendar name on the left, then scrolling to\u00a0<\/span><b>\u201cShare with specific people\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and adding participants\u2019 emails. There\u2019s a catch: you need the Google Calendar extension to take advantage of this.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Email notifications<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You\u2019ve got an important appointment, so you put it on your calendar, but your life is busy so you forget to check your calendar on that fateful day. If you don\u2019t want this to happen, <\/span><b>you can send yourself a notification via email.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Open your event and click the edit icon in the upper left corner to get to the &#8220;Event Details&#8221; screen. This is especially helpful if you\u2019re taking a trip, for example, and you want to include the boarding passes. When you go to the settings of the calendar at hand, click on <\/span><b>\u201cIntegrate calendar\u201d <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and go to the bottom. Wonderful, right? It\u2019s one of those features that you can even take advantage of without traveling, since you may work with international clients from home.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Quick schedule view<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Google Calendar may look ugly and unwieldy. Did you know you can change it? Click where it says \u201cMonth\u201d and you\u2019ll get several options.
