Bike hire schemes<\/b> are making a big impact around the world, and <\/span>Hong Kong-based Gobee.bike<\/b> was hoping to cash in on the two-wheel revolution when it opened for business <\/span>in France<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

But its distinctive green cycles have been withdrawn from cities across the country after a <\/span>battle against vandals<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

These antisocial elements have <\/span>stolen over a thousand vehicles and smashed up<\/span><\/a> more than three times that number. <\/span><\/p>\n

After <\/span>retreating from several French cities<\/b>, plus the Belgium capital of Brussels, Gobee.bike decided to throw in the towel entirely, blaming the \u201c<\/span>mass destruction<\/b>\u201d of its fleet on \u201c<\/span>underaged individuals<\/b>.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n
