Spider-Man Ultimate Power (Android)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Side-scrolling action platform games<\/strong> are still incredibly popular on smartphones, so you\u2019ll enjoy activating your web-slinging abilities in Spider-Man Ultimate Power<\/a>. The story mode is linear, with you running through various levels to stop the villains. The controls are easy to master, and you\u2019ll unlock some power-ups along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also different suits<\/strong> to claim as rewards, which you can view in the gallery. The visuals may not be superb, but it\u2019s reminiscent of the comic books from which Spider-Man hails. To unlock more features, you\u2019ll need to earn coins and gems in each stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spider-man (Windows) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s a Windows title that goes back as far as the year 2000. While the graphics are blocky compared to most of today\u2019s titles, it was still one of the best web-slinging games to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each level presents some tactics you need to use to overcome them, especially the boss battles. It followed hot on the heels of the movie with the same name, presenting a familiar storyline with the same villains. However, the open-world nature<\/strong> of the game allowed players to take on some side missions and explore locations freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By completing missions, you received tokens or credits<\/strong> for unlocking powers and special moves. If you arrived at boss battles too soon, there was always the chance that Spidey wasn\u2019t strong enough to take them on, which meant grinding side missions until you were ready. Still, it\u2019s a wonderful Spider-Man game for PC that we\u2019ll gladly play again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet another game based on the movie, Spider-Man 3<\/a> is from the Tobey Maguire universe. With a different spin<\/em> on the game mechanics, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe<\/a> is a side-scrolling fighting arcade game<\/strong> where you beat up as many enemies as you can per level. You\u2019ll cross streets, rooftops, and other terrains in your mission, but your goal is simply to go from one side of the stage to the other while eliminating your foes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One element that\u2019s similar to many Lego superhero and villain games is that you unlock the main villain<\/strong> you defeat. For instance, Venom or Doc Oc can become allies as soon as you defeat them. A second player can join you at any time if they want to partake in the head-bashing hilarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Amazing Spider-Man (Android)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Returning to the Andrew Garfield universe, The Amazing Spider-Man<\/a> is a delightful game based on his first Spidey movie, this time for Android devices. It presented outstanding graphics<\/strong> for mobile phones during that time, while the action gameplay was incredible. As we\u2019ve become used to by this time, you swing around in an open world taking care of baddies while working up to the main boss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, you\u2019ll be surprised to learn that the story actually happens after<\/em> the movie\u2019s plot. With Gwen Stacy at your side, you\u2019ll face the sinister Alistair Smythe, who was a popular villain in the comics. You\u2019ll love when your spider-sense warns you of danger<\/strong>, and there are some skills to unlock along the way. It\u2019s certainly still one of the top Spider-Man games for Android still around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spider Web of Shadows Fight (Android)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Despite a challenging name to say out loud without sounding ridiculous, Spider Web of Shadows Fight<\/a> was an addictive Android game<\/strong> with action platform features. It\u2019s based on the same title from the console version, but only as far as the plot and some choices are concerned. You\u2019ll meet some of the mainstay villains again, such as Venom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you unlock the symbiote suit<\/strong>, you can switch between red and blue or black. You\u2019ll also meet Agent Fury, who provides you with the details of the alien attack on New York. While fighting and jumping are among the main actions, you can also crawl along walls and web-swing, of course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spider-Man: Total Mayhem (iPhone)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While being a mobile game, Spider-Man: Total Mayhem<\/a> actually pulls off the action in a 3D environment quite well. The graphics are slightly outdated now with blocky characters, but it delivers just as much fun as when it launched in 2010. You\u2019ll once again face off against goons in the street<\/strong> as a test of your prowess, with simple controls on the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The villains in this Spider-Man game for iPhone<\/strong> are a mix from various movies, with more of a focus on the comics. Most of the Sinister Six are around, such as Goblin, Doc Oc, Electro, and Sandman. The music is superb, getting your adrenaline rushing as you take on the bad guys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spider-Man Unlimited (iPhone)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s a Spider-Man game with a different take on gameplay. Objects will fall in your way or attempt to stop you while you work out which is the best course of action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll love the cartoon graphics<\/strong> that are similar to the comics. You\u2019ll earn in-game currency tokens to use when you die or unlock items. As you progress through the Spidey game, you\u2019ll discover other versions of our hero with new abilities you can use against the bosses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spider-Man: Far From Home (iPhone)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re a die-hard Spidey fan, you\u2019ll love the Spider-Man: Far From Home<\/a> app. While there aren\u2019t many game elements, it definitely goes on our list for you to try out. There are augmented reality features where you may come across Mysterio or Spider-Man<\/strong> from the movie with the same name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the functions lets you take a selfie with Spidey or Peter Parker, depending on your preference. You can also hack his phone and see his text messages, photos, and voicemails with real voice-acting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
