You\u2019ll see us test this in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Twitter Support (@TwitterSupport) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TwitterSupport\/status\/1041838957028233217?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 17, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Twitter got rid of chronological tweets two years ago, and replaced that with a special algorithm designed to show a user <strong>tweets that they might like.<\/strong> The way this works is that Twitter takes a few tweets from the people you follow during each visit and scores them with a relevance model which is supposed to rank them by what would be most interesting to you. Many of the tweets voicing issues with Twitter ask that they are included in the timeline revamp \u00a0&#8211; if not removing them completely.
