With the recent release of Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon Let\u2019s Go: Pikachu and Let\u2019s Go: Eevee, fans of the popular mobile app <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon Go have been excited to connect their account to the new game. You can receive a variety of perks by doing this, which are invaluable for both games. However, you may find it a bit complicated to connect the games and transfer <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon, even after the Go Park employee\u2019s explanation in Fuschia City. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to connect the two games, and how to transfer <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon once you\u2019ve done so.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to connect your accounts<\/b><\/h3>\n

Step 1: <\/b>On <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon Go, click the <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9 Ball in the center of the screen, then press settings in the upper right corner and scroll down until you see where it says \u201cNintendo Switch\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: <\/b>From this menu, simply press \u201cconnect to Nintendo Switch\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3: <\/b>On Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon Let\u2019s Go, from the main menu (that you get to from pressing X), press Y. This should open up the options tab. Then press \u201cOpen <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon Go Settings\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/b> From here you simply have to press \u201cyes\u201d when the game prompts to connect to your Go account.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to transfer <\/b>Pok<\/b>\u00e9mon<\/b><\/h3>\n

Once you\u2019ve connected your devices, you may find it a little confusing as to how you can actually transfer your <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon. <\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: <\/b>On <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon Go, you\u2019ll need to press the main menu <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9 Ball, then press \u201c<\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: <\/b>From here, you should see a Nintendo Switch icon in the top right corner next to the search bar. If you press this, you\u2019ll be able to select the <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon you want to transfer over. <\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3: <\/b>On <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon Let\u2019s Go, you\u2019ll have to go to the Go Park in Fuschia City, and select \u201cBring <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon\u201d when talking to the desk attendant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 4: <\/b>Once you\u2019ve selected a place for the <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon to go to, you just have to press \u201cyes\u201d to continue the communication.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note: Transferring is one-way from Go to Let\u2019s Go. Once a <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon is transferred to Let\u2019s Go, there is no way for it to return to Go.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Pok<\/b>\u00e9mon GO Park Play Yard<\/b><\/h3>\n

You\u2019ll notice another option in the Pok\u00e9mon Go Park, then just transferring and catching\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon, called the Play Yard<\/span>. In case you\u2019re curious as to how this works, if you have 25 of the same species of <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon in the Go Park, then you can play a minigame with them. This minigame is one of the only ways to get unique <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon candy, so it\u2019s worth doing if you want to make a particular <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon more powerful.<\/span><\/p>\n

While this is the main connectivity between <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon Go and Let\u2019s Go, you may also want to note that transferring <\/span>Pok<\/span>\u00e9mon lets you use a Mystery Box once a week.
