For the most part, Fortnite’s Week 2 challenge set is fairly straightforward, with a few exceptions. One challenge tasks players with finishing a dance-off in an “abandoned mansion” and the other involves finding hidden pianos and playing certain songs on them. Read on for everything you need to know to complete these unique Week 2 challenges.<\/p>\n

Fortnite Week 2 Challenges Guide<\/h2>\n

The first challenge on the list will task players with playing sheet music on pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge. This challenge is more straightforward than it may seem at first. The hardest part is actually finding the locations of these two pianos, but we’ve tracked them down for you.<\/p>\n

Piano 1: Pleasant Park<\/h3>\n

It’s important to note that these aren’t your typical pianos. No, they’re actually giant keyboards that are easily visible from the air. If you decide to parachute down on top of them, you should have an easy enough time locating them. The Pleasant Park piano isn’t located in the town itself, but rather on a hilltop beside it. If you don’t drop directly in on it, you’ll have to gather materials and build your way to the top.<\/p>\n

Once there, simply take a look at the sheet music nearby and hop on the matching keys in the order presented. Don’t worry: you don’t have to hop directly from key to key, but can step off the keyboard to get to the next note. As long as you play all the notes in order, the first part of the challenge should complete and you’ll hear a familiar little jingle as a reward.<\/p>\n

Piano 2: Lonely Lodge<\/h3>\n

The second piano should also be easily visible from the air. It’s located on the cliffside at the edge of the map between Lonely Lodge and the abandoned hero mansion. The melody you’ll need to play on this piano is longer and more involved than the first. Take it slowly and carefully and you should have no trouble. Also: the keyboard is larger, so you’ll see more than one key of each note. It doesn’t matter which key you play, as long as you play it in the order presented on the sheet music. After you finished, you’ll once again hear a little song play and the challenge will be complete.<\/p>\n

Mansion Dance-Off Challenge<\/h3>\n

This challenge tasks players with completing a dance-off in an “abandoned mansion.” Completing this task requires two players. This would be easiest to complete in Duos or Squad modes, but it’s also possible (but difficult) to complete in Solo mode as well.<\/p>\n

The mansion that the challenge refers to is the abandoned superhero mansion from Season 4. It’s located at the eastern edge of the map just south of Lonely Lodge. Head inside the mansion and down into the basement, and you’ll find a dance floor with pulsing music and a scoreboard.<\/p>\n

To complete the challenge, you and another player should position yourselves on either side of the center scoreboard. When you do, the floor tiles beneath you will light up. Run to the lit floor tile and use a dance emote to score points. The lit tiles will change quickly, so you’ll have to move fast to score points. After a minute or so, the dance-off will finish and you’ll get to find out who the dance master is. Whether you win or lose, the challenge should still mark as complete.<\/p>\n
