Nearly the entire cast of the upcoming “Star Wars” film attended the Star Wars Celebration<\/a> event in Chicago today. Stephen Colbert interviewed director JJ Abrams, along with actors\u00a0Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaccs, John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran, Naomie Ackie, Jonas Suotamo, and many more.<\/p>\n

At the end of the conversation, the filmmakers showed off a teaser trailer for the new film, titled “Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.”<\/strong> Buckle up, kids.<\/p>\n

The last words in the trailer are, “No one’s ever really gone.” And then it’s followed by the distinctive cackle of The Emperor.<\/strong> Whaaaaaaaaa?<\/p>\n

Some other standout moments of the trailer<\/a> include a heartbreaking hug between Leia and Rey, Lando back at the helm of the Millennium Falcon, and Rey outrunning, then flipping over a TIE Interceptor (likely Kylo Ren’s).<\/p>\n
