As such, the first step is simply to not use IE anymore<\/strong>, which is probably already the case. Even Microsoft is discouraging you from using the browser<\/a>. They’re aware of this issue, and their response was less than reassuring: “We determined that a fix for this issue will be considered in a future version of this product or service,” said Microsoft. “At this time, we will not be providing ongoing updates of the status of the fix for this issue, and we have closed this case.”<\/p>\n As Microsoft’s Chris Jackson<\/a> tells it, “we\u2019re not supporting new web standards for [Internet Explorer] and, while many sites work fine, developers by and large just aren\u2019t testing for Internet Explorer these days.<\/strong> They\u2019re testing on modern browsers.
