This new feature from Tinder could help you out if you’re swiping while on vacation.<\/p>\n

Tinder will soon alert their LGBTQ users if they are using the app while in a country that criminalizes same-sex relationships<\/strong>. This new feature is called Traveler Alert, and it is expected to roll out in a future update<\/a>, according to an announcement from Tinder.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, police in these countries often use dating apps like Tinder to find same-sex couples and prosecute them<\/strong>, according to Tinder. This move will hopefully save LGBTQ users from this cruel fate.<\/p>\n

Along with alerting users, Tinder will automatically remove their profile from the app while they are in the country<\/strong>. However, users will be able to make their profiles visible if they wish to take the risk.<\/p>\n
