A handy feature in its arsenal is the Bookmarks Manager. Chrome also has a Bookmarks Bar for easy access to your favorites. While we\u2019re sure you\u2019re aware of all this already, do you know how to export them to a new device? Let us show you how.<\/span><\/p>\n

Export Chrome bookmarks to another PC or Mac device<\/b><\/h2>\n

Whether you\u2019re using Chrome on PC or Mac, the process remains the same. There are two different methods you can use, so we\u2019ll take you through them both. You can thank us later.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first method involves exporting bookmarks to a different device. Here are the steps you need to follow:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Launch Chrome on the source device (PC or Mac);<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Select the menu icon to the right of the URL bar;<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Choose Bookmarks, Bookmarks Manager;<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Click on the new menu icon, and select Export Bookmarks;<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Choose a destination folder and save;<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Open Chrome on the destination device;<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Follow steps 1 – 4 above, but select Import Bookmarks instead;<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Click on Open.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Export Chrome bookmarks to another web browser on PC and Mac<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Another method is to export your bookmarks to a different browser. You can follow the same steps 1 – 5 for Chrome as above, but you\u2019ll change the tasks on your preferred web application. <\/span><\/p>\n

    For instance, here are the steps for exporting bookmarks to Firefox:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. After saving your Chrome bookmarks, open Firefox;<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Select the Library icon to the right of the URL bar;<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Choose Bookmarks, then Bookmarks Manager;<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Click on Import and Backup, followed by Import Data from Another Browser;<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Ensure that Google Chrome is closed, and select Chrome;<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Pick all the options you want to import and then finish the process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
