You\u2019re all set, and the students are eager. It\u2019s time for you to create an online venue so that they can chat about the topic at hand. It\u2019s vital that you create channels for all planned breakout rooms before the meeting begins so that you don\u2019t delay the session.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are the steps you need to follow:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Click on the menu icon and choose \u2018Add Channel\u2019 for each different group;<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Begin your meeting or training session;<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. When ready, inform members in which units you\u2019re placing them;<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Pick \u2018Teams\u2019 in the left panel;<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Select the relevant breakout room and click \u2018Meet Now\u2019 on the board;<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Create a title, and select \u2018Meet Now\u2019 again when done;<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Repeat steps 5 – 6 for more rooms;<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Choose the phone icon to end each breakout room when completed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How many breakout rooms can you create?<\/b><\/h2>\n

    You can host up to four virtual meeting venues simultaneously. However, you can only attend one at a time. <\/span><\/p>\n

    While you\u2019re switching between the rooms, the other three will remain on hold. You\u2019ll need to join each on separately, so ensure you keep track of where each member is located.<\/span><\/p>\n
