Microsoft Word<\/span><\/a> has become a popular medium for writing text and creating documents on Windows, Mac, <\/span>Android<\/span><\/a>, and <\/span>iPhone<\/span><\/a>. However, did you know that you can also draw on it? <\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a quick guide on the different methods you can use to <\/span>draw on Microsoft Word<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inserting shapes<\/b><\/h2>\n

The first option you have is to insert shapes into your document. Let\u2019s follow the steps for this process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: Find the shapes<\/b><\/h3>\n

If you go to the main menu and click on \u2018Insert\u2019 and then select the \u2018Shapes\u2019 drop-down menu, you\u2019ll see a window full of new items you can select. Choose the shape that appeals to you most.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: Draw the shape<\/b><\/h3>\n

Use your mouse to start outlining the shape, stretching it to the desired size. You can also format it by adding text or changing the colors.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are several pen tools you can use if you want to design a unique drawing in Microsoft Word. We\u2019ll briefly take you through the steps.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the main menu, you\u2019ll see a \u2018Draw\u2019 tab nearby the \u2018Insert\u2019 option. If you select it, a new window displaying different pens will appear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: Design your drawing<\/b><\/h3>\n

Once you\u2019ve selected the tool you need, you can click on \u2018Draw with Touch\u2019 to begin. There are pens, pencils, and highlighters that you can mess around with. You can also add a new pen design if you want to.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drawing canvas<\/b><\/h2>\n

The final method you have to draw on Microsoft word is to insert a canvas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: Insert the canvas<\/b><\/h3>\n

You can head to the same \u2018Draw\u2019 tab as before and click on the \u2018Insert\u2019 section. You\u2019ll see the \u2018Drawing Canvas\u2019 option as one of the selections.<\/span><\/p>\n

Microsoft Word will now insert a blank canvas in the document. All you need to do is click and drag your shape as you’d like. <\/span><\/p>\n
