It\u2019s been designed for a specific age group, with unique features to accompany your message.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, not everyone is fond of this option and has been looking for how to disable Quick Chat in Among Us. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this quick guide, we\u2019ll show you how to perform this task on the PC version of the title. Let&#8217;s dive in!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How to disable Quick Chat in Among Us<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you\u2019re over the age of 13, the Quick Chat option won\u2019t be available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> However, you can\u2019t merely change your age once you\u2019ve set it. There\u2019s a way around this dilemma, fortunately.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Step 1: Change your age<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First, you\u2019ll need to change details inside a file that stores your age. Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need to do:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Search for \u2018C:\\Users\\(your-username-folder)\\AppData\\LocalLow\\Innersloth\\Among Us\u2019 in Windows Explorer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Open your Hidden Files setting and find the \u2018App Data\u2019 folder.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Use NotePad to open the file \u2018playerPrefs\u2019.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are a string of variable that indicates your birth date as month, day, and year.
