So, in this guide, we’ll focus on how to add students to a Google Classroom to help you ensure there are no excuses for absent students.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Add Students to a Google Classroom<\/b><\/h2>\n

Method 1: Send the Class Code<\/b><\/h3>\n

This is the more popular method because it only requires one step on the teacher’s side. Navigate to your classroom, and you’ll see a <\/span>Class Code <\/b>on the top left-hand side of the screen, just under the classroom’s name. Send this code to your students, and they’ll be able to use it to enter the classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n

Method 2: Add manually<\/b><\/h3>\n

If, for any reason, you don’t want to use the class code and prefer to add your students manually or a student is struggling to enter the classroom with the code, then you can use this method to add them. Select the <\/span>People <\/b>option at the top of the screen. Next to the <\/span>Students <\/b>option, click on the <\/span>Invite Students <\/b>button. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now type in the student’s name or email address, and click the <\/span>Invite <\/b>button. This will send an invitation to the student via email.<\/span><\/p>\n
