Screen<\/span> sharing or <\/span>screen<\/span> mirroring is a valuable tool in <\/span>Zoom<\/span> as it allows you to share what you\u2019ve been working on with others in the meeting. The trick is knowing how to do it on <\/span>Windows<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Mac<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Android<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>iPhone<\/span><\/a> devices. <\/span><\/p>\n

You can start the <\/span>meeting<\/span> immediately by sharing your screen from the start, or you can decide to <\/span>share<\/span> your <\/span>screen<\/span> once already in the session. The host may disable screen sharing when setting up the meeting. I<\/span>n this case, you will not be able to share the screen unless the host changes the permission<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Share Screen on Zoom From the Start<\/b><\/h2>\n

This is probably the simplest way to start sharing your <\/span>screen<\/span>, but it might not be useful in every situation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: Open Zoom and Log In<\/b><\/h3>\n

Open <\/span>Zoom<\/span> on your computer or phone and log into your account.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: Select \u2018Share Screen\u2019<\/b><\/h3>\n

On the main page, click or tap on \u2018<\/span>Share screen<\/span>\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3: Input Your Meeting ID or Sharing Key<\/b><\/h3>\n

You will be asked to input either of these identifiers to join the <\/span>meeting<\/span> and immediately <\/span>share<\/span> your <\/span>screen<\/span> with other participants.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: Join a Zoom Meeting<\/b><\/h3>\n

Join or host a <\/span>Zoom meeting<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: Select \u2018Share Screen\u2019<\/b><\/h3>\n

Once in the <\/span>meeting,<\/span> you will see the <\/span>meeting<\/span> control. These are all tools used within the <\/span>meeting<\/span>, such as muting or playing <\/span>with the audio<\/span>. You can also choose to \u2018<\/span>Share Screen<\/span>\u2019 from these settings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3: Choose Which Screen to Share<\/b><\/h3>\n

Now you can choose which <\/span>screen<\/span> you would like to <\/span>share<\/span>. This is useful if you have multiple screens open but only need to share one or two. This process works the same <\/span>on phones<\/span>, but you need to be aware that your <\/span>screen share<\/span> will show everything currently visible <\/span>on the phone<\/span>, and you don\u2019t get the option to choose which <\/span>screen<\/span> to <\/span>share<\/span>. So be careful when using this option on your phone.<\/span><\/p>\n
