Luckily there is an effortless way that you can change this and only have the program open when you want it to.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Open \u2018Preferences\u2019<\/h2>\"How

    Open the <\/span>uTorrent <\/span>program by double-clicking on the icon on your desktop. Choose \u2018Options\u2019 in the top menu bar. In the drop-down list that opens, click on the \u2018Preferences\u2019 option.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  2. Uncheck \u2018Open uTorrent When Windows Starts\u2019<\/h2>\"How

    A new window will open showing all the preference options. Click on the \u2018General\u2019 tab.
