Microsoft Powerpoint<\/a> contains many valuable features that make creating striking presentations a breeze on your Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android device. These features include useful templates, themes, transitions, and effects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also add presenter notes which don\u2019t show on the presentation but show on the presenter\u2019s device to help you stay on track during your presentation. Let\u2019s take a look at how to use Microsoft Powerpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Choose a Template or Blank Project and Add a Theme<\/h2>\"How

    Open Powerpoint and start a new project.<\/span><\/p>\n

    – Choose one of the already designed templates, or you can choose a blank design.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • If you <\/span>select<\/span> a blank project, click on \u2018Design\u2019 in the top ribbon of <\/span>Microsoft Powerpoint<\/span> and scroll through the options and choose one.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>

    • Make the Title Page<\/h2>\"How

      The first <\/span>slide<\/span> that you see will already be set up as a potential title page.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      – Click on the textbox\u2019 Click to <\/span>Add<\/span> Title\u2019 and type the title of your <\/span>presentation<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      – Click on the textbox\u2019 Click to <\/span>Add<\/span> Subtitle\u2019 and type the subtitle of your <\/span>presentation<\/span> and your name if relevant.<\/span><\/p>\n

      • Now you can change the font, size, and color of the text by changing the options in the top ribbon. You can also move the text boxes or resize them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>

      • Add More Slides<\/h2>\"How

        You will need to <\/span>add<\/span> more <\/span>slides<\/span> to your <\/span>presentation<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        – One way to <\/span>add<\/span> a new <\/span>slide<\/span> is to click the area to the left of your screen underneath the title slide and choose \u2018<\/span>Add<\/span> New <\/span>Slide<\/span>.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

        – Another way to <\/span>add<\/span> a <\/span>slide<\/span> is by clicking \u2018<\/span>Add<\/span> New <\/span>Slide<\/span>\u2019 in the top ribbon of the program.<\/span><\/p>\n

        • The theme and design you chose in step two will automatically carry over to any new <\/span>slides<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>

        • Insert Media<\/h2>\"How

          Click on \u2018Insert\u2019 from the top ribbon and insert media such as images, graphs, charts, and even videos to your <\/span>presentation<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

        • Add Transitions<\/h2>\"How

          By clicking on the \u2018Animations\u2019 tab from the ribbon, you can insert different transitions between your <\/span>slides<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><\/ol><\/div>
