If you\u2019ve been using Firefox<\/a> for a while, you might notice that it becomes slower with regular use. This can be attributed to the stored data that the browser saves in the background to use to recall popular sites that you\u2019ve visited. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to return your browser speed, you will need to clear your site data and cache<\/strong>. Let\u2019s look at how you can clear your cache.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Choose \u2018Preferences\u2019<\/h2>\"How

    Open your <\/span>Firefox<\/span> browser on your computer. Click on the three horizontal lines (burger) in the top right of the screen. Now, click \u2018Preferences\u2019 in the drop-down list.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  2. Clear Your Browsing Data<\/h2>\"How

    Choose the \u2018Privacy and Security\u2019 option from the list on the left-hand side of the screen.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Scroll through the list provided and click on \u2018<\/span>Cookies<\/span> and <\/span>Site Data<\/span>\u2019. When you\u2019re done, click on \u2018<\/span>Clear<\/span> Data\u2019 to the right of the screen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  3. Choose to Clear the Caches Web Content<\/h2>\"How

    In the new pop-up window, select the option to clear \u2018Cached web Content\u2019. You can also choose to clear <\/span>cookies<\/span> and <\/span>site data<\/span>, but be aware that you may be signed out of all websites and will remove offline web content by selecting this option. When you\u2019ve decided what data to clear, you can click on \u2018<\/span>Clear<\/span>\u2019 at the bottom of the window to finalize the process. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><\/ol><\/div>
