If you are browsing with Firefox<\/a>, you may come across a certificate error that usually comes with an \u2018Invalid Certificate\u2019 or SSL error. This is because Firefox automatically attempts to validate any websites that show a certificate for your security. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what can you do to keep Firefox from rejecting these sites and giving a certificate error<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Click on the Hamburger<\/h2>\"How

    Open the web browser on your computer by clicking on the shortcut on your desktop, the icon on your hotbar or dock or from your app menu.<\/span> Click on the three horizontal lines (hamburger) at the top right of the screen. This will open up a drop-down list of your browser settings<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  2. Click on \u2018Options\u2019 and Then \u2018Advanced\u2019<\/h2>\"How

    In the drop-down list, click \u2018Options\u2019. Next, click \u2018Advanced\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  3. Remove Certificate Validation<\/h2>\"How

    Now click the \u2018Encryption\u2019 option from the options provided.<\/span> In the encryption window, click the \u2018Validate\u2019 button.<\/span> Remove the checkmark next to <\/span>\u2018Certificate<\/span> Validation\u2019 and click \u2018Ok\u2019. <\/span><\/p>\n

    From now on, <\/span>Firefox<\/span> will accept all <\/span>certificates<\/span> without validating them first. You will no longer get an \u2018Invalid <\/span>Certificate\u2019<\/span> error<\/span> when trying to gain access to different sites.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><\/ol><\/div>
