Let\u2019s look at how you can use the basic editing tools in VLC to edit a video<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Activate Advanced Controls<\/h2>\"How

    Run the <\/span>media player<\/span> on your chosen device and start your <\/span>video<\/span>.<\/span> To start <\/span>video editing<\/span>, you will need to activate the advanced controls.<\/span><\/p>\n

    – Click \u2018View\u2019 from the menu bar.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • In the drop-down menu, choose \u2018Advanced Controls.\u2019 You will see a new toolbar at the bottom of the window, including a red recording button.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>

    • Cut and Crop the Video<\/h2>\"How

      You can now cut or trim the <\/span>video<\/span> any way you want.<\/span><\/p>\n

      – Drag the sliding bar to the start point of the section you want to keep.<\/span><\/p>\n

      – Now press the \u2018Record\u2019 and \u2018Play\u2019 buttons to start recording the section you want to keep.<\/span><\/p>\n

      – Press the \u2018Record\u2019 button once again to stop the recording at your chosen point.<\/span><\/p>\n

      – Click \u2018<\/span>Video<\/span>\u2019 in the top menu bar.<\/span><\/p>\n
