Ever since AngelTFTC created the mod for Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance Upgrade<\/a>, fans of the series have been wondering how to install Tie Fighter: Total Conversion<\/a> to the game. It\u2019s not a patch you can play on its own, and you\u2019ll need to have several things in place before you can play the remodeled TFTC game<\/strong> from 1994. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this short guide, we\u2019ll show you which steps to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Install STAR WARS – X-Wing Alliance<\/h2>\"How

    Before you can gain access to TFTC, you\u2019ll need to install the base game. Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance serves as the base for all the missions, weapons, and fleet around which the other patches revolve. Once you have a copy of the title, simply complete the installation wizard and take note of the location where the folder is saved.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  2. Install X-Wing Alliance Upgrade<\/h2>\"How

    Next up, you\u2019ll need the Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance Upgrade utility patch. What this upgrade does is upgrade the graphics<\/strong> and gameplay to a more modern appearance. However, there are some precautions you should take before installing this patch so that it doesn\u2019t mess with the original files.<\/span><\/p>\n

    First, make a copy of the <\/span>Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance game folder you installed in the previous step. Don\u2019t place it in a Windows or Program Files folder, as it may mess with the patch. Once you have a location, install the upgrade patch<\/strong> to the new folder you copied.<\/span><\/p>\n
