Others might have needed to <strong>update their BIOS<\/strong> to enable TPM in the UEFI settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Either way, you have some new tools to play with, plus there\u2019s the fact that the new Windows 11 environment is <a href=\"https:\/\/windows-11.en.softonic.com\/articles\/windows-11-and-android-apps-compatibility\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">compatible with Android apps<\/a>. In this quick guide, we\u2019ll show you a <strong>few tips and tricks<\/strong> you can try.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"howto_container schema-howto-acf-block\"><ol><li><div class=\"howto_item\"><h2>How To Take A Screenshot On Windows 11<\/h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2021\/10\/How-to-use-Windows-11-tips-tricks-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"310\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The function to <\/span><b>take a screenshot<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on your Windows desktop hasn\u2019t fallen away. As a matter of fact, there are six ways you can do it now, with some of them still the same as the previous operating system. You can use any of these methods depending on which function you need the most:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8211; PrtSc Key<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Sends a screenshot of the entire screen to your clipboard for later pasting, which is the easiest way to take a PrintScreen on Windows 11<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8211; Windows Key + PrtSc Key<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Save the screen as a file<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8211; ALT + PrtSc<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Only takes a screenshot of the active window<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8211; Windows Key + Shift + S<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: You snip a small section of the screen for copying<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8211; Snip &amp; Sketch Delay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Use the Snip &amp; Sketch utility to create a delayed screenshot of a few seconds<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8211; CTRL + ALT + PrtScr<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: This function allows you to capture scrolling on a web page, but only if you have an app like <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/picpick.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PicPick<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> installed.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"howto_item\"><h2>How To Split Screen On Windows 11<\/h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2021\/10\/How-to-use-Windows-11-tips-tricks-2.jpg\" alt=\"Another neat feature of Windows 11 is that it has MT built into the operating system. The first method involved pressing the Windows key and the \u201cI\u201d button to access your Settings. Look for the System option, and open Multitasking. You\u2019ll see you can enable various functions to assist you in optimizing your screens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s also a new feature with Windows 11 called <\/span><b>Snap Layouts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. When you hover your mouse over the maximize square icon at the top of a window, you\u2019ll see various layouts appear. You can then split your screen up to four ways with various designs. You can use the same method to return to one screen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"howto_item\"><h2>How To Defrag Windows 11<\/h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2021\/10\/How-to-use-Windows-11-tips-tricks-3.jpg\" alt=\"Another neat feature of Windows 11 is that it has MT built into the operating system. Your data is sometimes scattered all over your hard drive, which causes lag when trying to run programs or files. It\u2019s also helpful if the software won\u2019t install to your PC, and you need an alternative installation method. Using the <a href=\"https:\/\/windows-11-media-creation-tool.en.softonic.com\/windows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media Creation tool<\/a>, you can save the installation file to a USB:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; On the official Windows 11 page where you download the installation file, head lower down to \u201cCreate Windows 11 Installation Media\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; After the download is done, open the file<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; A new window appears that asks which media you\u2019d like to use for the disc image, choose the USB option<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Once you make a selection, your PC will ask you to select the USB\u00a0 drive where you want to burn the image<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; The devices must be connected for your Windows to pick them up. If it doesn\u2019t, you need to insert the appropriate device and then refresh the list<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; When done, the Media Creation tool will create the image for you, and then display the path where it\u2019s located<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; You can head to the location and either place it on your USB drive<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Make sure to verify the file to see that it works<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"howto_item\"><h2>How to use Windows 11 Disc Image<\/h2><p>If you want to create a disc image of Windows 11 on a DVD instead of an image, you&#8217;ll follow the same process using the Media Creation tool. When it asks how you want to create the data, you&#8217;ll choose the DVD option.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/windows-11-disk-image-iso.en.softonic.com\/windows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Disc Image<\/a> tool will appear, asking you which device you would like to use to burn the image.
