Playing word games<\/strong> in an industry filled with action and adventure titles may not seem exciting, but you\u2019d be surprised how entertaining <\/strong>a few letters can be. It seems like Wordle is rising in popularity<\/strong>, as more and more people are sharing their victories on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best part is that you can play Wordle free<\/strong><\/a> on your browser<\/strong>. While we showcased the English version before, you can also play it in other languages<\/strong> too.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free Wordle game in different languages<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It doesn\u2019t matter which language you play Wordle in, as the same rules apply<\/strong>. Insert five letters to make a word<\/strong>, and the game will show you which ones are green<\/strong> (right letter and placement), yellow<\/strong> (right letter, incorrect placement), and gray<\/strong> (incorrect letter and placement). You\u2019ll need to use these clues to solve the word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wordle in English<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We first discovered Wordle in the English version<\/strong><\/a>, which is the one you\u2019ll see a lot of on platforms like Twitter. As you can see from the screenshot below for today\u2019s puzzle, we spent all of our clues trying to decipher it<\/strong>. It\u2019s probably not one of our best attempts, but at least we had fun trying to complete it, followed by the default “Phew” message when you win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wordle in German<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While we\u2019re certainly good at completing the English version, the German Wordle<\/strong><\/a> may be a tougher nut to crack. There were many times the game informed us that the letter we inserted didn\u2019t make a word. We\u2019ll leave this one to the German experts<\/strong> out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wordle in French<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, one of our team members is extremely fluent in the French Wordle<\/strong> game<\/a> and managed to succeed on her first attempt. As you can see, she managed to complete it in fewer tries than the English version today. If you enjoy these types of puzzles<\/strong>, you may want to try some other programs like Wordle<\/a> on our French site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wordle in Spanish<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Spanish community<\/strong> has quickly taken up the new Wordle version<\/a> in their language. The same rules apply, of course, but the browser won\u2019t accept any words not in Spanish. We tested it, and it quickly gave us an error, informing us that the word doesn\u2019t exist. We hope your Spanish vocabulary<\/strong> is up to scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wordle in Italian<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re in Italy, you can also enjoy the Italian version <\/strong>of Wordle<\/a>. The developer used Github for the browser game<\/strong>, but it plays out the same way. If you\u2019re stuck finding Italian words with five letters, we suggest you use Google or an online dictionary <\/strong>to help you out. Remember, you can use the same letter twice<\/strong>, as long as the color isn\u2019t gray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wordle in Portuguese<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finally, there\u2019s the Portuguese Wordle<\/a> <\/strong>version. What we like about this one is that it has a completely different color scheme<\/strong>, which plays quite nicely on the eyes. There aren\u2019t any special characters on the virtual keyboard, but somehow the game still knows what you mean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wordle has become so popular that the original developer was surprised to see how much profit<\/strong> it made. Despite being five years old, somehow it\u2019s the latest hottest trending title in various languages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even celebrities like Jimmy Fallon are hooked on it. And instead of keeping all the profit, Steven Cravotta has decided to donate some of it to charity<\/strong>. Such an amazing inspiration to us all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
