{"id":18258,"date":"2011-07-13T10:48:33","date_gmt":"2011-07-13T08:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/?p=18258"},"modified":"2025-07-02T01:58:51","modified_gmt":"2025-07-02T08:58:51","slug":"preview-gmails-new-look-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms-articles.softonic.io\/en\/preview-gmails-new-look-now\/","title":{"rendered":"Preview Gmail&#8217;s new look now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Google is on fire: in just a few days they&#8217;ve launched their own social network <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/\"><strong>Google+<\/strong><\/a>, announced the <a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2011\/07\/05\/google-blogger-picasa-rebranding\/\"><strong>rebranding of Picasa and Blogger<\/strong><\/a> to Google Photos and Google Blogs respectively, and slightly <strong>redesigned<\/strong> a few of of their online services (such as search and calendar). The new design will presumably be slowly rolled out to all Google services in the near future, but you can have a sneak peek &#8211; at least in Gmail:<\/p>\n<p>To <strong>preview Gmail&#8217;s new look<\/strong> you have to click the <strong>gear icon<\/strong> on the top right corner and select the Mail settings option.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18262\" title=\"Mail settings\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2011\/07\/preview02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"379\" height=\"247\" srcset=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2011\/07\/preview02.jpg 379w, https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2011\/07\/preview02-300x195.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 379px) 100vw, 379px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then click the <strong>Themes<\/strong> tab and browse down to the bottom of the page.
