It seems like Epic Games is pulling out all the stops to ensure we have a brand new experience in Fortnite<\/a> Chapter 3 Season 2. In the past, we\u2019ve had reboot vans to help resurrect our killed teammates. In the latest leaked rumors, it appears that we may be getting a deployable reboot item<\/strong> where you can bring them back anywhere on the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 brought the first changes<\/a> about, we were all shocked at the No-Build mode. We thought it was only temporary and would vanish when we complete the Resistance quests. However, we then discovered via datamining that No-Build mode may remain in Fortnite<\/a> as a separate option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an extra measure against opponents, we received an overshield to protect our armor and health, which regenerated. Now, Epic Games may be adding another tool for duo, trio, and squad modes to help resurrect teammates<\/strong>. We don\u2019t know as yet what this deployable item is, but it will make a massive difference to the battle royale matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who don\u2019t play Fortnite as much as we do, let\u2019s give some context. Usually, when you\u2019re teammates die, you need to collect their resurrection card<\/strong> and run to the closest reboot van. As the circle closes, you may run out of options, leaving you alone on the battlefield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From what popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX<\/a> says, it looks like this item will let you deploy wherever you are. However, it sounds like a consumable you\u2019ll need to collect<\/strong> and isn\u2019t permanently on your character. So the reboot vans are here to stay, but you could save this deployable item for the last circle and resurrect your team at the last minute as a surprise attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, Call of Duty: Warzone<\/a> introduced Rebirth Resurgence for Solo players<\/strong>. Where the standard battle royale means you\u2019ll return to the lobby after you die, you now have a rebirth item to head back into the fight. If you keep completing contracts and performing actions, you can almost come back indefinitely, but you\u2019ll need to be quick before someone kills you permanently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason we bring this up is that we\u2019re wondering if this move by Epic Games\u2019 competitor was any inspiration behind the new BR item. We can only speculate for now, but it feels like a move in an exciting direction.
