While it\u2019s gearing up for the beta test of Google Play Games\u2019 PC version<\/a>, Google Play isn\u2019t just limited to its mobile game service. It also covers apps from different platforms, as well as device system features unique to Google. That\u2019s why April 2022\u2019s planned update comes with a variety of content<\/strong> for all users to appreciate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The major updates to Google Play Store are new features for the Play Pass<\/strong> and Play Points<\/strong> programs, letting users access apps through various means. There are also new ways to discover apps and games on the Play Store, and the Play-as-you-download<\/strong> feature\u2019s waiting times have improved. Other optimizations<\/strong> for the Play Store include faster and stable downloads and installations, enhancements to Google Billing and Play Protect, and various bug fixes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, other parts of the update cover critical fixes<\/strong> for security and system management services for some devices, and new developer features<\/strong> for Google and third-party app developers. The last one is for ad support, accessibility, security, and the like in their apps.
