These include the previously-reported <a href=\"https:\/\/whatsapp.en.softonic.com\/articles\/whatsapp-voice-notes-improvements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">global voice note player feature for WhatsApp<\/a> that lets users play voice messages in the background while navigating the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WhatsApp\u2019s drive to constantly introduce handy features and improve existing ones is what makes it one of the most popular instant chat apps around. From allowing users to <a href=\"https:\/\/whatsapp.en.softonic.com\/articles\/blur-tool-whatsapp-android\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">blur images on WhatsApp for Android<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/whatsapp.en.softonic.com\/articles\/whatsapp-support-file-sizes-2gb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">expanding WhatsApp\u2019s file size limit<\/a> when sharing media, there\u2019s definitely much to look forward to in these new voice note features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The upcoming voice message update will arrive in the coming weeks, after rigorous beta testing. There are primarily six features to expect. The first is the <strong>global voice note player<\/strong> or the \u201cOut of Chat Playback\u201d feature, which is great for multitasking. There is also the <strong>Pause\/Resume Recording<\/strong> feature, which allows you to pause during recording and create a uniform and uninterrupted voice note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The third new function is the <strong>Waveform Visualization<\/strong>, which displays a visual representation of the voice message so you know where you are. This feature will also be added to voice calls soon. Next is the <strong>Draft Preview<\/strong>, which lets you review your recording before sending it. There\u2019s also the <strong>Remember Playback<\/strong> feature, which will let you pick up where you left off after pausing the voice message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lastly, there\u2019s the <strong>Fast Playback on Forwarded Messages<\/strong>, which adds speed controls for the recordings and offers 1.5x and 2x speeds to choose from.
