There were some hints, but now it has finally been confirmed. The next game in the series will be <a href=\"https:\/\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-2.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t confuse it with the original COD: Modern Warfare 2 we saw in 2009. It\u2019s the sequel to the MW from 2019, which means it won\u2019t be a remake. There have been some rumors about Columbian cartels and U.S. special forces, but we\u2019ll wait until there\u2019s something more concrete from the developer and publisher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sadly, COD: Modern Warfare 2 will be a landmark for the <strong>end of annual releases<\/strong>. Ever since Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, there have been talks of halting the launch of COD titles every year. We believe this is a move in the right direction, and it will save our bank balances for a change. Then again, we\u2019ll probably see more content in the seasonal Battle Passes for other Call of Duty games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, we\u2019re still excited about the <a href=\"https:\/\/diablo-immortal.en.softonic.com\/articles\/diablo-immortal-pc-mobile-release\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">upcoming mobile release of Diablo Immortal<\/a>. From June onwards, we\u2019ll be playing our hearts out to see how it compares to <a href=\"https:\/\/diablo-iii.en.softonic.com\/\">Diabl<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/diablo-iii.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">o<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/diablo-iii.en.softonic.com\/\"> 3<\/a> and the current seasonal challenges.
