WhatsApp has been busy of late, developing lots of new features for both the iOS and Android versions of the app. These include updates to WhatsApp\u2019s disappearing messages<\/a> feature and new powers for admins of WhatsApp groups.<\/a> As well as developing updates to the regular app, WhatsApp has also been working hard on updating WhatsApp Business features<\/a> too and seemingly wants everybody to know about it. At least, it looks this way considering the new Twitter account WhatsApp has just set up.<\/p>\n\n\n

WhatsApp has started a brand new Twitter account<\/a> for its WhatsApp Business<\/a> service<\/strong>. At the time of writing, the account is only a few hours old and is only following three other accounts, which are the Meta for Developers account, the Meta for Business account, and the main WhatsApp account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far there isn\u2019t too much to report from WhatsApp\u2019s newest Twitter account as it has only made two Tweets so far. If you are a WhatsApp Business user though, it could be worth following the account so you can stay up to date with all the latest updates that may affect the service.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remembering fallen comrades<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We also have some small news relating to an update that may come to WhatsApp groups. The latest WhatsApp beta version for Android includes a feature that would allow users to view all past participants in a group<\/strong>. Currently under development, the upcoming feature would be an option that sits at the bottom of the group participants list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new feature will make it easier to see who used to be in the groups you are in but has since left. WABetaInfo<\/a> reports that for the moment at least, it looks like this feature will be available for everybody in the group rather than just group admins<\/strong>. This could be due to change, however, as the feature passes through further stages of development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
