Fallout is one of the all-time most-loved gaming series to come out of Bethesda. But the most recent iteration of the classic survival game is a relic from 2015, Fallout 4<\/strong>. Even if you count the release of Fallout 76, an online-only game that deviates from the rest of the franchise in the worst ways, the most recent iteration of the Fallout series is still 4 years old<\/strong>. Needless to say, fans have been clamoring for something new. But since Bethesda seems preoccupied with Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield, fans have decided to take it upon themselves to essentially create a new Fallout game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

It\u2019s called Fallout London, and it sees the incredible story of survival in a post-nuclear apocalypse world told from the perspective of our neighbors across the pond. Fallout London isn\u2019t a new game. However, it\u2019s actually just a mod for Fallout 4<\/strong>. But so much attention to detail and dedication has been put into creating this experience that it presents like a brand new official title in the Fallout series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision to explore how the nuclear apocalypse would have affected our friends in London is a deviation from the classic Fallout formula. Previously, we\u2019ve only been able to explore the American perspective. We do have a slightly different relationship with the subject matter of Fallout, though. For years the threat of nuclear war was so real and ever-present that it changed America\u2019s psyche. Fallout preparation practically became an American pastime<\/strong> as ingrained in our DNA as Thanksgiving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fallout London gives players the chance to see London and all her iconic monuments in a state of disaster. In addition to that, the mod also explores the effects of the Resource Wars<\/strong> on the British spirit, all neatly packaged with a character creator and an action-packed escape from a nuclear bunker. As an added bonus, players will even get to listen to the iconic voices of Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker, the Sixth and Seventh Doctors from the British science-fiction staple Doctor Who. This experience couldn\u2019t get any more authentically British than that if you had a stuck recording of God Save the Queen<\/strong> playing somewhere in the distance in the nuclear wasteland known as Central London.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fallout London is still in ongoing development. The official website for the mod states that there are no initial plans to make the mod available on platforms other than PC and that, as of yet, a specific release date for the final product is difficult to pinpoint.
