In the teaser video, we see a Pokemon that hasn\u2019t been encountered in Pokemon GO yet, and yes, it is an Ultra Beast. The video title is \u2018<strong>Something\u2019s coming\u2026<\/strong>\u2019 and if that doesn\u2019t give it away, the caption is even more of a tease by asking trainers if they\u2019ve seen this pokemon and what\u2019s going on?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Something\u2019s coming...\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Ms1AewOo5vA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The clip doesn\u2019t give away any information, but we do see <strong>Nihilego, an Ultra Beast pokemon<\/strong> that looks like a jellyfish. Nihilego is one of 11 Ultra Beasts that we know of, according to the Pokemon lore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ultra Beast pokemon were first <strong>introduced in Gen 7<\/strong> and are extradimensional pokemon that travel through ultra wormholes. They are <strong>very combative<\/strong> and are attracted to others who\u2019ve also traveled through these wormholes by picking up residual energy. Along with these Pokemon, we also met <strong>the Ultra Recon Squad<\/strong>, who come from a world beyond the wormhole, and their objective is to research these pokemon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The teaser video <strong>doesn\u2019t share any specifics<\/strong>, so at this point, it\u2019s just speculation on whether we\u2019ll actually see these Ultra Beasts in Pokemon GO. We also have no information on how the addition would work in the game at this stage. According to the lore, these pokemon can only be <strong>captured with Beast Balls<\/strong> when encountered in the wild, so we wonder if these will also be added? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re also wondering how encounters with the Ultra Recon Squad will work if they\u2019re also introduced with the Ultra Beasts &#8211; which they really should.<br>We look forward to seeing more of this exciting development and can\u2019t help but wonder if we\u2019ll see these new additions at the upcoming Pokemon GO Fest in June.
