You\u2019ll see all of these processes happening on your screen; you just won\u2019t be involved in the operation. Head over to the top banner in your browser and <strong>click on the puzzle piece<\/strong> icon. This is the icon for your extensions. Seeing as I haven\u2019t used Coin Wallet before, I\u2019m going to go ahead and create a new wallet.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"howto_item\"><h2>Create a Password for Coin Wallet<\/h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2022\/06\/How-to-use-the-Coin-Wallet-Google-Chrome-extension-5.jpg\" alt=\"How to use the Coin Wallet Google Chrome extension\" width=\"359\" height=\"598\"><p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>When prompted, you\u2019ll need to <strong>select a unique password<\/strong> for your new wallet. In the spirit of a more active role in cybersecurity, let us reinforce the definite don\u2019ts of password creation:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t use 0000 or 1234<\/li>\n<li>Use a mixture of upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and special characters<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t use a password you\u2019ve used before<\/li>\n<li>Your password cannot be \u2018Password.\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"howto_item\"><h2>Seed Phrase<\/h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2022\/06\/How-to-use-the-Coin-Wallet-Google-Chrome-extension-6.jpg\" alt=\"How to use the Coin Wallet Google Chrome extension\" width=\"356\" height=\"598\"><p>Once you\u2019ve <strong>created a unique password<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be prompted to memorize or save a personal seed phrase. This is essentially a series of randomly generated words that you have to enter when you want to sign in again.<\/p>\n<p>You can choose whether to have 12 or 24 words to remember, but these have to be entered in an exact sequence. This offers an extra layer of protection without connecting this wallet to any other accounts. The transactions are fairly easy to navigate. If you want to send or exchange cryptocurrency, choose the relevant crypto icon from the five icons on the main transaction interface.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>From here, you can <strong>select an amount to transfer<\/strong>, exchange or otherwise transact with before entering the relevant details for the particular transaction. Coin Wallet <strong>supports 13,487 cryptocurrencies<\/strong>, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
