In a strange turn of events, the upcoming Pac-Man World Re-Pac is set to have Pac-Mom<\/strong> as the main female character instead of Ms Pac-Man<\/strong>. The new trailer reveals that she looks similar to the former female protagonist, with a hat instead of a hair bow. Is there a reason they\u2019re suddenly hiding the hero and not presenting her in the game?<\/p>\n\n\n

Well, yes, it appears there is. Bandai Namco struggled with a 2019 lawsuit<\/strong> from AtGames who currently holds the license for Ms Pacman. AtGames makes arcade cabinets and mini consoles, and the yellow munching hero is one of its top gaming characters. Bandai Namco is already in trouble for using her in a previous title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you watch the trailer for Pac-Man World Re-Pac<\/a> below<\/strong>, the scenes showing Pac-Mom should have had Ms Pac-Man instead. It seems this will be the way to go for now, unless Bandai Namco can get permission to use Ms Pac-Man again.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
