It would seem that Rockstar Games has decided to shift its focus<\/strong> to the future with GTA 6 and move away from the past. This is according to sources close to the gaming studio that brought us Red Dead Redemption and GTA. Following the massive failure of the remake<\/strong> of the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition, the studio is apparently shelving all other remakes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Tez, a reliable GTA insider, released a tweet<\/a> that shocked many Rockstar fans. In his tweet, he stated that the remasters of GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption were no longer on the table<\/strong>. He also speculated that the poor reception of the GTA trilogy might be the reason for this decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per a reliable source with clear accuracy on Rockstar plans, remasters of GTA IV & RDR1 were on the table a few years ago, but Rockstar chose not to proceed with the projects in mind.
