Tips and tricks for winning in EA Sports Cricket<\/h2>\n\n\n

  1. Six 6s – One Over<\/h2>\"How

    We start off with a fairly easy trick. If someone had told me back in the day that it was easy to score six boundaries in one over, I\u2019d have laughed them out of the room. Now, however, with a few years of cricket under my belt – albeit virtual cricket – This is an easy move to execute perfectly each time. This trick<\/span> relies on precision<\/b>. Therefore, it might not be the trick to try if you\u2019ve just picked up EA Sports Cricket for the first time. Seasoned players, however, should be able to master this one with little effort and practice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    All you need to do to hit continuous sixes is always ensure that the ball marker is clearly visible on the batsman\u2019s leg side. From here, you\u2019ll want to make sure that the leg stump is <\/span>clearly visible<\/b>. The way to do this is to move the batsman\u2019s foot in such a way that you can see the leg stump.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Next, you\u2019ll need to hit two buttons simultaneously; the button that boosts your shot and the one that advances your shot.     This is another relatively easy trick, if not easier than scoring consistent 6s. However, you\u2019ll still need considerable practise to get this one to work as it relies on you having <\/span>decent control<\/b> over the ball marker. The first step to getting ten wickets in ten balls is to get a fast bowler. Next, you\u2019ll want to take the ball marker and position it as close to the batsman\u2019s leg as possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Once you\u2019ve got the ball marker close to the batsman\u2019s leg, you\u2019ll need to adjust the speed and swing of the ball. Your ball speed always needs to be the maximum. Remember – <\/span>fast <\/span><\/i>bowler. Now for the swing. If you have a right-handed batsman, you\u2019ll want to go for an inswing. For a left-handed batsman, an outswing is the best move. You\u2019ll control the swing with the <\/span>\u2018S\u2019 and \u2018D\u2019<\/b> keys. If you get the swing, speed, and positioning right, the ball should hit the stumps without fail.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    You may need to mess around with the ball marker placement for a while before you find the sweet spot. What works best for me is to place the ball marker directly behind the batsman\u2019s toes. This way, the AI is almost <\/span>guaranteed to miss the ball<\/b> consistently. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  3. Spinners = Easy wickets<\/h2>\"How

    Usually, EA Sports Cricket takes spinners for runs. However, we still have a trick for you that is sure to make your spinner the spinner to end all spinners. All you need to do is place your players in the slips, and close to the batsman. You\u2019ll need to surround him with a<\/span> fairly tight field<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Next, ensure that you bowl short. You can\u2019t bowl too short however, this will result in the umpire signalling you with the dreaded \u2018no-ball\u2019. If you nail the short ball, it\u2019ll move slowly due to your use of a spin bowler. It will then either <\/span>hit the stumps directly<\/b>, or it will hit the bat, bounce up as if it were going to be caught, end up as a dot ball, or hit the pads. You\u2019ve got a really high chance of getting an LBW if you use this trick and given that you only have to bowl a short ball, it\u2019s one of the easiest tricks to get right. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  4. Extra runs<\/h2>\"How

    So many games have glitches and slight errors or oversight in coding – EA Sports Cricket is one such game. There\u2019s a glitch in the game where if you complete a run after an appeal to the umpire the run will be counted. You\u2019ll need to be incredibly careful with your timing to get this right though. But if you nail it, you score<\/span> an extra run<\/b> every time!<\/span><\/p>\n

    All you need to do is perform a run. Now, you\u2019ll need to pay close attention to everything happening on the field because this can be a little bit tricky. The ball will break the stumps if it is thrown toward the wicketkeeper or bowler. Before this happens, you need to press <\/span>\u2018D\u2019 <\/b>– while you\u2019re running. You also need to make sure that you are across the crease. Because you\u2019re across the crease when you press \u2018D\u2019, the appeal won\u2019t be counted. The wicketkeeper, therefore, won\u2019t throw the ball again and you\u2019ll get an extra run! It\u2019s that easy. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><\/ol><\/div>
