That move for the subscription plan that gives users constant access to the most up-to-date features, means that sooner or later static versions of other Microsoft programs will soon get left behind. The key, however, is that while they might not have been getting full updates, <strong>they have been getting security updates<\/strong>, which means that they have been safe to use at least, even if they haven\u2019t been up to date with all the latest features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>It is the security support that Microsoft is finally pulling<\/strong>, which means continuing to use Microsoft 365 apps on these older operating systems will be much riskier<strong> after January 10 next year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Microsoft has released <a href=\"https:\/\/query.prod.cms.rt.microsoft.com\/cms\/api\/am\/binary\/RE2OqRI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a document<\/a>, which <strong>outlines the different operating systems it offers that can support the continued use of Microsoft 365 apps<\/strong>.
