TennoCon 2022 was jam-packed with everything you never knew you needed to know about the future of Warframe and Digital Extremes. But there were two announcements<\/strong> that were far more important than the rest; Warframe is getting two massive updates, and Digital Extremes is partnering with Airship Syndicate to release a brand-new game; Soulframe. <\/p>\n\n\n

Our first exposure to the name Soulframe was a few months ago in a European trademark application. At the time, we expected Soulframe to be a Soulslike minigame for Warframe. Now though, we know that Soulframe will be so much more than initially expected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new game, in partnership with Airship Syndicate – the name behind Battle Chasers – will be a free-to-play MMORPG<\/strong>, just like Warframe. Unlike Warframe, however, the new game will switch out the dystopian future setting for a brand-new high-fantasy world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
