Now, we have confirmation that women\u2019s soccer is indeed part of the FIFA 23 experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EA recently revealed this on its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ea.com\/en-gb\/games\/fifa\/fifa-23\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"website\">website<\/a> and in a brand-new FIFA 23 trailer. The final iteration of EA\u2019s FIFA franchise will see players able to play as soccer stars from both France\u2019s Division 1 Arkema, and the UK\u2019s <strong>Barclays FA Women\u2019s Super League<\/strong>. This potentially means that we could see even further integration of women\u2019s leagues in EA\u2019s next football series, EA Sports FC.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"FIFA 23 Reveal Trailer | The World\u2019s Game\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/o3V-GvvzjE4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EA announced that FIFA 23 will also feature a <strong>cross-platform multiplayer<\/strong> component, but this will have its limits depending on the generation of your console. For instance, players on Xbox One will be able to play against <strong>PlayStation 4<\/strong> players, but not PS5. PS5 players will similarly be able to play with those on Xbox Series X|S, as well as players on Google Stadia or PC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The game will also only let friends play each other in two game modes: FIFA Ultimate Team\u2019s Play a Friend, and online friendlies. In any other game modes, players will be paired up through online matchmaking. These modes include FUT Rivals, FUT Online Friendlies, FUT Champions, Online Seasons, and FUT Online Draft. Players will be able to<strong> opt-out of cross-play<\/strong> completely, in which case they\u2019ll only play against players on the same platform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, the biggest news surrounding the game is that<a href=\"https:\/\/fifa-23.en.softonic.com\/articles\/fifa-23-sam-kerr-cover\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Sam Kerr will be on an internationally available version of Fifa 23<\/a>.
