In the meantime, users affected are encouraged to <strong>file feedback reports<\/strong> and try an applicable temporary workaround.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is one workaround for the Windows 10 printer issue on update KB5014666:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open the Settings app, navigate to \u201cBluetooth &amp; devices\u201d, and select \u201cPrinters &amp; scanners\u201d<\/li><li>If there appears to be a duplicate installation of an existing printer, such as with suffix &#8220;Copy1&#8221;, confirm if printing works for this printer. This printer should operate as expected.<\/li><li>If there is a need to use the original printer installation and not the duplicate, right-click the duplicate printer, select &#8220;Printer properties&#8221; and select the &#8220;Ports&#8221; tab. Observe the port in use.<\/li><li>Open &#8220;Printer properties&#8221; on the original printer and select the &#8220;Ports&#8221; tab. From the list displayed, select the port option in use by the duplicate printer. For guidance, see <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/windows\/install-the-latest-driver-for-your-printer-4ff66446-a2ab-b77f-46f4-a6d3fe4bf661\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Install the latest driver for your printer<\/a>.<ul><li>\u200bIf you already have the latest driver, consult the printer Manufacturer\u2019s website for any device firmware updates.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>\u200bIf you are still having issues, uninstalling and reinstalling your printer might help.<ul><li>\u200bTurn off your printer and disconnect any cables.<\/li><li>\u200bOpen the Settings app, navigate to \u201cBluetooth &amp; devices\u201d, and select \u201cPrinters &amp; scanners.\u201d<\/li><li>Select the affected printer and select the &#8220;Remove Device&#8221; option.<\/li><li>\u200bRestart your device.<\/li><li>\u200bTurn on your printer and reconnect it to your device.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As confirmed on the Windows Health Dashboard, this bug in the new update only affects Windows 10 21H2, 21H1, and 20H2 (including Windows Server).
