In more recent news, <a href=\"https:\/\/lensa-photo-editor-for-perfect-pictures.en.softonic.com\/android\">Lensa<\/a> has used it to make <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/celebrities-look-like-ai\">magical avatars for celebrities<\/a> and normal people like us. However, you may have missed the news a<a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/privacy-fears-about-ai-trend-for-users\"> few months ago<\/a> of a gaming fan <strong>upgrading game assets<\/strong> with it. It looks like the img2img AI technology may be the next trending topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of us gamers hail from the 80s\/90s, and yes, I\u2019m mostly speaking about myself. How many of you remember the DOS games with those really basic graphics? Well, frigis9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/StableDiffusion\/comments\/x2wwxx\/using_dos_games_as_init_images\/\">shared some images<\/a> a few months ago on <a href=\"https:\/\/reddit.en.softonic.com\/\">Reddit<\/a> about how he used img2img technology with Visions of Chaos to <strong>upgrade the visuals with prompts<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re thinking of doing the same, you may want to wait <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/open-source-software-is-crucial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"until the technology \">until the technology <\/a>has a better way of <strong>understanding prompts<\/strong>. It\u2019s quite challenging for the AI tech to understand what you want it to do. The AI tech <strong>took the original images<\/strong> supplied to it, with some prompts for the output, and delivered upgraded visuals. We\u2019re sure the human developers of the original games could do better, but it shows <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/stable-diffusion-addressed-ai-fears\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"what the technology can do\">what the technology can do<\/a> at this point. Of course, it should be more powerful by next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet again, we have an <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/who-owns-ai-generated-artwork\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"issue of copyright here\">issue of copyright here<\/a>. There are <strong>assets that are copyrighted<\/strong> to the companies that developed the games. While it\u2019s fun making these portraits, designers using this AI technology won\u2019t be able to sell them or make NFTs of them without the publisher\u2019s permission.
