While no official announcements in this regard have been made, many 3rd-party apps are complaining that users can\u2019t log in from their platforms. They\u2019ve reached out to Twitter to sort it out, but all they\u2019re getting is silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tweetbot and other clients are experiencing problems logging in to Twitter. The developers have taken to <a href=\"https:\/\/mastodon.en.softonic.com\/android\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mastodon<\/a>, wondering if this is a deliberate move by Twitter to <strong>kill third-party applications<\/strong>. In the meantime, others are saying it could just be that the Twitter API has been updated, affecting any developed apps that use it. What\u2019s happening is, if you didn\u2019t get the gist of it yet, users aren\u2019t able to access their Twitter accounts from these platforms. As much as they try, they just won\u2019t let them in. It\u2019s probably made many users wonder if they\u2019re accounts have been suspended or removed for some reason before they researched and found this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sorry, I don\u2019t have a viable solution for you except one: use the official Twitter app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve always wondered why people use third-party apps for Twitter. The only one I used in the past was Tweetdeck so I could check all my accounts at the same time. While that was fun in the beginning, it soon lost its shine. I guess each of them serve a specific purpose.
