The sequel to <strong>the highest-grossing film in history<\/strong> is part of a saga of films that the director, <strong>James Cameron<\/strong>, already announced years ago (although with several changes in the expected release dates), and which <strong>are already being filmed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While we still don&#8217;t know if or when Avatar 2 will premiere on <strong>Disney+<\/strong>, in a recent statement to <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2023\/01\/james-cameron-teases-avatar-3-introduce-fire-element-two-new-cultures-1235223321\/\" title=\"Deadline\"><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/a>, the <strong>Titanic<\/strong> director has commented on what we could expect from the next part of the saga, Avatar 3, highlighting the importance that the <strong>element of fire<\/strong> will play in the sequel, as well as the introduction of <strong>two new cultures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Everything that is known about Avatar 3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">James Cameron wanted to highlight the relevance that fire will have in Avatar 3. &#8220;Fire has a symbolic purpose in the film and <strong>there is a culture that specifically revolves around that concept<\/strong>. That&#8217;s probably saying too much as we speak&#8221;. The director assures that, in addition, we will get to know another culture, about which nothing is known yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new information joins what we already knew previously. The movie will be released in theaters around the world on <strong>December 20, 2024<\/strong> (you have almost two years to watch Avatar 2). The release dates of <strong>Avatar 4<\/strong> and <strong>Avatar 5<\/strong> are also known, which would be December 18, 2026 and December 22, 2028, respectively (although they can always vary).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed-Youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Avatar: El Sentido del Agua | Tr\u00e1iler Oficial en espa\u00f1ol | HD\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FSyWAxUg3Go?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the confirmed casting, we meet again with <strong>Sam Worthington<\/strong>, <strong>Zoe Salda\u00f1a<\/strong>, <strong>Sigourney Weaver<\/strong>, Stephen Lang, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Cliff Curtis, Bailey Bass, CCH Pounder, Matt Gerald, Jack Champion and Edie Falco, with the possibility (very likely) that <strong>Kate Winslet<\/strong> will return in her role as Ronal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/everything-everywhere-all-at-once-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-267335\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will also see new characters, such as Dr Karina Mogue, who will be played by <strong>Michelle Yeoh<\/strong>, the protagonist of <strong>Everything Everywhere All at Once<\/strong>. <strong>Oona Chaplin<\/strong>, who brought us an amazing Talisa Maegyr in Game of Thrones, will play a new Na&#8217;vi named Varang. Finally, David Thewlis, who gave life to Professor <strong>Remus Lupin<\/strong> in the <strong>Harry Potter<\/strong> saga, will characterize Peylak, a Na&#8217;vi we don&#8217;t know yet but who will have a leading role in the next three films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/Avatar-Frontiers-of-Pandora-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-267334\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What else do you think the new installment of James Cameron will bring us?
