In preparation for the new season, let\u2019s take a<strong> look at what\u2019s already happened<\/strong>. The storyline is <strong>based on the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/d-and-d-beyond.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dungeons and Dragons<\/strong><\/a><strong> adventures<\/strong> of the web series Critical Role. This is the main focus of the plot in season one. During their mission, the team discovers the <strong>culprit is a blue Dragon named Brimscythe<\/strong>. To add to the plot twist, Brimscythe had been posing as a member of the Council &#8211; which led to many of the Empire\u2019s armies being wiped out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vox Machina succeeds in defeating Brimscythe, but that\u2019s not the end of the story. It appears that Brimscythe was <strong>just a single threat<\/strong> in a much bigger operation. In the season finale, four dragons descend on the capital city, bringing chaos and death. While the first season shows a lot of <strong>gory deaths, sexual innuendos, and dark drama<\/strong>, there are also <strong>glimmers of romance<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Already in season one, we could see a relationship forming between Vax&#8217;ildan and Keyleth, and the effect this has on the elven twin&#8217;s relationship. There also seems to be something blossoming between Percy and Vex\u2019Ahlia as she shows the most compassion for his growing vengeance. In season one, we picked up on some<strong> feelings of inadequacies<\/strong> despite his happy-go-lucky persona. We might also <strong>discover more about the elven twin&#8217;s past<\/strong> as the tidbits we learned in season one shared that their mother was killed by a dragon, and season 2 is all about fighting dragons.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re also expecting to see some <strong>more of Keyleth\u2019s development<\/strong> in season two as the adventure takes them on a search for ancient magical relics &#8211; the perfect setup for her test. Finally, we have yet to see <strong>what happens with Grog<\/strong> and Sylas\u2019s magical black blade that whispers to him. Will that be causing issues for the adventurer in season 2?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from our band of adventurers, there are also<strong> other storylines continuing<\/strong> into season 2. We know <strong>Dr. Anna Ripley escaped<\/strong>, but she still has unfinished business with Percy, hinting that we might see her return in the future. The <strong>Council of Tal\u2019Dorei<\/strong> is still shrouded in mystery. Aside from <strong>Lady Allura and the halfling knight Kima<\/strong>, we haven\u2019t learned much about the other members. Hopefully, in season two we\u2019ll learn more about the Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luckily, season 2 is releasing today on <a href=\"https:\/\/amazon-prime-video.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amazon Prime<\/a>, so you can dive into the adventure straight away!
