However, this does not mean that you should give up controlling your smart devices from your computer. There are several methods with which you can implement Google Home on your computer in the blink of an eye. All of them are very simple and very safe. You only need to download an Android emulator or use the Google Chrome browser.

How to install Google Home on your PC with an Android emulator

As we have already mentioned, there is only an official Google Home application for cell phones. At first this may discourage any PC user, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Did you know that you can easily emulate the Android operating system from your desktop computer? All you need to do is download and install an Android emulator on your PC.

There are a number of free Android emulators such as MEmu or BlueStacks. They perfectly mimic Google’s mobile operating system and make using Google Home very simple. For its ease of use, high customization and good results, from Softonic we recommend that if you want to emulate Google Home opt for BlueStacks and follow these steps.

Step 1. Download and install BlueStacks

To start using Google Home from your PC, first of all you need to download BlueStacks. You can get this application quickly and safely from the same Softonic website. Once you have the file on your computer, double click on it to start the installation process.

        BlueStacks
        DOWNLOAD

        <text class="rating-score__number" content="9" text-anchor="middle" transform="matrix(1 0 0 1 25 31.0837)" data-auto="app-user-score">9</text>

Step 2. Sign in with your Google account

Once you have installed BlueStacks, you will need to configure your browser to start downloading apps from the Play Store. Download Google Home

Once the emulator is configured, you will see that your screen mimics that of an Android device. Access the Google Play Store as you normally would and download Google Home. Set up Google Home

To finish, you will need to set up Google Home. Open the app from the BlueStacks interface and enter your Google account. You will see that from now on, the process for using Google Home is identical to how it would be from your cell phone, but from the comfort of your PC.

man using a computer

How to use Google Home on your PC from Google Chrome

If you don’t feel like installing an Android emulator, don’t worry.
