Clicking once on the button saves it to your library, and with the second click you can save it to a specific playlist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, the app had the classic heart icon. Pressing it meant that you liked a song and saved it to your library, and the button to add it to a playlist was separate, hidden in a separate three-dot menu. With this, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/artificial-intelligence-spotify-dj\">Spotify<\/a> wants to save users time<\/strong> and make the experience simpler and more fruitful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/02\/spotify-new-plus-button.jpg?quality=82&amp;strip=all\" alt=\"Spotify is replacing its heart button with a new dual-function 'plus' icon  - 9to5Mac\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, we are so used to the heart button (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/know-tweet-cheated-twitter-update-notes-community\">Twitter<\/a> even changed its &#8220;fav&#8221; star to this icon) that <strong>it is not clear that the new button will work at all<\/strong>.
