Apple<\/a> released last February 28 the second beta of iOS 16.4<\/strong> aimed at developers. Unlike the first beta<\/a>, it is not a version with too many new features<\/a>. However, there are several additions that are worth knowing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the release of iOS 16<\/a>, Apple took the opportunity to modify the Apple Books application and thus, remove the traditional page turning animation (something that had remained untouchable since its first versions<\/a>). As expected, this annoyed many users of the bitten apple but we finally have it back. This second beta has included the page turning animation again as an option that you can activate (or not) and in addition, we have three to choose from: “Slide”, “Curl” or “None”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Slide” (or slide) is the default animation that included iOS 16<\/a>. On the other hand, we have “Curl”, which is the classic animation that we have seen in iOS 15<\/a> and previous versions. Finally, we have the most basic option which would be “None”. As you can imagine, the animation here is reduced to the useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visual changes in iOS 16.4 beta 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If on our iPhone we go to Settings > General > Information > Coverage<\/strong>, we can see the warranty of all our Apple products in an improved way, at least at the design level. On the visual side, we can appreciate that the Always On Display<\/strong> settings have now been reorganized (you’ll find it under the Show Wallpaper option<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, we continue to find internal references to Apple Music Classical<\/a>, which suggests that its launch is getting closer. The beta code suggests that to listen to Apple Music Classical<\/strong> it will be necessary for users to have the Apple Music<\/a> application installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple Pay arrives in South Korea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the imminent arrival of Apple Music Classical, the code for this second beta has confirmed that South Korean users will be able to add credit and debit cards to the Wallet app. In short, South Koreans will finally be able to make use of Apple Pay<\/strong>.
