Defining storage by track rather than disk space is great, but how does you get your library into Google Music&#8217;s cloud storage?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>On the PC<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The first thing you need to do is download Google&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/google-music-manager.en.softonic.com\/\">Music Manager<\/a>. It isn&#8217;t possible to upload songs into the cloud from your device, but most people have their music libraries on their computers.<\/p>\n<p>After installing, Google&#8217;s Music Manager asks you to sign in with your <strong>Gmail account information<\/strong>. The program scans <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.en.softonic.com\/\">iTunes<\/a> media library and Windows&#8217; default folders. Interestingly, Google Play Music <strong>supports multiple Gmail accounts<\/strong> for streaming. In <strong>Options<\/strong>, there are many data saving features like <strong>streaming via Wi-Fi only<\/strong> and <strong>downloading files on Wi-Fi only<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n<p>There is necessary customization in Google Play Music.  Changing streaming options is important because it uses lots of data. Depending on the settings set previously, downloading time can vary.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s all you have to do to setup Google&#8217;s Music Manager and Google Play Music on the Android device for streaming and downloading music files.<\/p>\n<p>Google Play Music and Google Music Manager bring your computer and smartphone together.  Streaming personal libraries and downloading songs directly to the device is great.
